i wear my sunglasses at night

or should i say i wear my sunglasses in the daytime. at the gym.

true story, i walked by the treadmills and could have sworn i saw a girl wearing dark sunglasses as she walked. these werent just any sunglasses, no no. in no way could they be mistaken for anything other than someone being a tool.

these werent reading glasses, prescription glasses, or any other type of glasses. no. they were like raybans, though im sure the cheap 5 dollar kind, almost like in the movie "men in black." and oh yea, did i mention.. indoors?

so i ignored this to the best of my ability. i kept walking. tried to put it/her out of my mind. and then i was done with it.

until i was sitting at my desk, and she walked by. not only with them up on her head- but actually down over her eyes. she walked around because i think she thinks its acceptable to be her. but its not. not when you do that. if she ever read this blog i would deny it to the death. id say "no way, i wasnt talking about you dear. lots of people wear glasses like that indoors. purely coincidence."

but lets face it, who does that? i mean really now.

obnoxious.

treadmills, and those who should not use them

so today at work im minding my own business, just relaxing during my few moments of peace- and suddenly chaos strikes in the form of a treadmill.

lets back up for a second and clarify. the treadmill wasnt the chaos, it was a man. chaos in the form of a man. more specifically, though, his feet (combined with a slight weight problem perhaps). this man had apparently never used a treadmill, nor did he take the time to clean his ears enough to hear the thunderous pounds of sneaker on mechanical cardio equipment.

for those of you who dont know, roughly 220lbs of human smashing into an elevated plastic/metal object in a large open space does tend to make a little ruckus. weird.

at first it didnt register. funny noises come and go, accidents happen, whatever. after about a minute, i started to perk up, and look around at what danger was coming my way (survival of the fittest.. which little known fact i was much more fit than this stampede). the noise kept going. and then i saw it. a man, running in place at the same pace. i was instantly angered.

i then looked around to see why no one was telling him to stop. i guess these days, its better to not offend someone who is doing something so ass-backwards- rather than to save everyone else from having to listen to their blatant disregard for proper use and common courtesy.

nothing.

eventually, all good things must come to an end. so the man stopped, as he wasnt in the best shape and obviously could only last so long. but wait! the story isnt over. once he paused, momentarily, he must have told a friend. a friend of equal running ability. so now, the dynamic duo began their journey, a journey to fitness.

as im starting to feel comfortable in my silence again (and by silence i mean strange combinations of miley cyrus and paul wall, aka lets sing about "grillz" yo) the 2 men start running. and the thunder couldnt have been any louder. i thought by this point, someone would speak up. am i the only one looking on in horror? i think i was.

eventually it stopped. but honestly, i was too annoyed to be happy.

long overdue

one more thing, before i crawl back into bed for a while today.

i have been slacking on my random video posts and i deleted some of my older ones.. not to mention some of my old old posts that id uploaded, i no longer have on my hard-drive, so sadly no throwback video blogs.
sorry for all of that.

but the good news is my schedule is calming down a bit, so i'll be able to film more frequently again. and also, im starting a short film of sorts. and production will resume soon.

until then, check out the older videos, blog posts, flickr photo albums, and twitter posts.

take care all.

people you may know

i shot a video a few months back expressing my distaste for the "people you may know" feature on facebook.. however, today, i decided to revisit and friend request all the people who were on that list. why? lets call it a social experiment.

on another note, though, that "become a fan" option better get out of here. fast. i'm growing quite sick of looking at my screen and seeing people i might know mixed with flip flops and sex.. i mean, great combination? yes of course. i love it.. but not via online. thats just pointless.
